Your story, your supports, your freedom
The stories we hold and tell about ourselves and others have a powerful influence on our view and experiences of life, relationships, emotions, confidence and sense of personal power. In my work I encourage conversations that help clients revisit and alter these narratives—opening space to discover and broaden their own resourcefulness and agency.
My clients and I focus on ways to deepen and enrich narratives that promote growth, healing and life preferences, while subverting narratives that contribute to a sense of inertia or feeling stuck. I place an emphasis on the voice and values of the people I see and their identified communities of support.
This work is collaborative and embraces the expertise my clients possess about their relationships and life experiences. We work together to reduce the power that fear, shame, anxiety and other identified problems exert—creating space with freedom and support where people can more fully live their chosen life story.

I came to the study and practice of family therapy through my own searching for purpose and personal growth. Following a career in visual design I went back to school and earned a Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University in 2008.
My training and practice emphasizes a systemic and relational approach to therapeutic work that integrates biological, psychological, social and spiritual resources for holistic health. I work primarily with adolescents, adults and seniors in individual, couple and family contexts addressing anxiety, depression, grief, difficult life transitions and relationship issues.
